Looking for an outrageous party treat? Learn how to make multi colored syringe jello shots with just a few simple ingredients. Perfect for any bash, these are sure to wow your guests!
Pour 1 cup of water to each glass bowl. Take a whisk or large tablespoon and stir until the jello powder has melted.
Add a 1/2 cup vodka and a 1/2 cup of cold water to each bowl. Stir the jello mixture until combined.
2 cups vodka, 2 cups cold water
Uncap each syringe. Place tip of the syringe in one of the jello bowls and pull the plunger up until you have 2 ounces of the liquid in it. Place the cap securely on the syringe and place it with the plunger sticking up in a box or container so it stays vertical. See notes for more tips about that.
Repeat until all the syringes have been used - you will most likely have jello left over.
Place the box or container in the fridge for at least 4 hours.

Helpful tips
Choose your favorite flavors. I like to make a variety of colors and flavors, but you can make as many or as few as you prefer.
Use clear alcohol. Vodka, white rum, and blanco tequila work especially well for Jello shot syringes because they allow the vibrant colors to shine through.
Chill the vodka ahead of time. If you don't normally store vodka in the freezer, measure out what you need and freeze it the night before. Using cold vodka helps cool the gelatin mixture faster.
Choose the right syringes. I used 2-ounce syringes, but 1.5-ounce syringes work just as well. Keep in mind that the 2-ounce syringes look much bigger than you'd expect! Whichever size you choose, make sure they're food-safe and BPA-free, and wash them before using.
Fill the syringes the easy way. Remove the cap and push the plunger all the way in. Place the tip into the liquid Jello mixture and slowly pull back the plunger to fill the syringe. Replace the cap and stand the syringe tip-down in your prepared container.
Plan for refrigerator space. The syringes need at least 4 hours to set, so choose a container that fits in your refrigerator and keeps them upright. I used a lightweight cardboard wine glass box, which worked perfectly. Remember to allow extra height for the extended plungers!
Keep them chilled until serving. For a fun presentation, arrange the Jello shot syringes in a bucket of ice to keep them cold and firm throughout your gathering.
